Matheus Jesus had a strong enough season with Corinthians in 2019 that warranted a permanent move from Estoril. However, the club decided to lone him to Bragantino for 2020 in which if he plays an unspecified amount matches, Bragantino would have to purchase him for an undisclosed amount. Although he hasn’t been officially announced, the player has already been photographed in the club’s training gear in Itu-SP, where Massa Bruta is training before the São Paulo State Cup.

The player showed promise in the UEFA Youth League this season, assisting 2 times in 3 matches, but it wasn’t enough to earn an opportunity with the first team and he’s been with the under-19 for the campaign so far. He has now been loaned to Red Bull Bragantino for 18 months and, although he hasn’t been officially unveiled, he is also with the squad in Itu-SP.

Since negotiations with Atlético Mineiro goalkeeper Cleiton are stalling, Bragantino are looking at other options in goal and one of them is Chapecoense’s Tiepo. Massa Bruta are looking for a replacement for Kewin, who left the club when his contract expired, and have had a R$1 million bid rejected. Negotiations are still ongoing with a loan with an option to buy or an outright purchase a possibility.

Thonny Anderson’s move to Bragantino is edging ever closer as Grêmio have accepted a reported R$15 million bid for 50% of his economic rights. Most of the paperwork is done and now the player is expected to sign a four-year deal and will be in Itu-SP before the team heads to Argentina.

After showcasing his talent at CSA last season, Warley returned from his loan to Santa Cruz, but it seems that he won’t stay for long. Red Bull Bragantino have submitted a R$2 million bid for 70% of the 20-year-old right-back’s economic rights. His contract runs until 2021 and 50% of his rights is valued between R$750,000 and R$1.2 million.

Red Bull Bragantino’s long-standing interest in Walce continues. After having bids of R$22 (€5) million and R$27 million (€6) million rejected, Bragantino are considering an increased offer of R$36 (€8) million for centre-back. However, UOL contradicted the report later in the week, stating that no further offer has been made but the club remains optimistic in securing his signature.
