The Brazilian transfer market opens on January 1, 2020 and Bragantino are heavily in the market for new signings as the club prepares for its first season in Série A since 1990. Red Bull Hub will provide a weekly round-up of all Bragantino’s arrivals, departures and rumours.

In the latter part of the season, Rafael Carioca became an important player for Antônio Carlos Zago due to other players having injuries and he helped Bragantino secure a place in the top flight, providing a constant threat down the left wing, by winning Série B. His loan deal from Red Bull Brasil wasn’t extended and he was allowed to negotiate with and join Vitória.

Bragantino have a verbal agreement with Walce to sign him on a five-year deal, but due to São Paulo rejecting Bragantino’s biggest offer, RB Leipzig have entered the negotiations to sign the player for itself and then loaning him to Bragantino for 18 months. Right now, nothing further has happened.

Some reports suggest that the deadline is December 15.

Name: Helinho | Age: 19 | Club: São Paulo | Nationality: Brazil | Position: right winger | Fee: N/A | Interested clubs: none | Source: UOL

Palmieras has been listening to proposals from Athletico Paranaense and Bahia for Carlos Eduardo, who is not part of the club’s plans for the 2020 season, while Bragantino are showing an interest. The club would prefer to sell him permanently but would be open to the idea of a loan deal. Goiás were interested during the season, however the demanded fee proved too much for them.

Name: Anderson Ceará | Age: 20 | Club: Santos B | Nationality: Brazil | Position: attacking midfield | Fee: N/A | Interested clubs: Red Bull Brasil | Source: ESPN Brasil, UOL

Red Bull Brasil are looking to add Santos B midfielder Anderson Ceará on loan with an option to buy ahead of the 2020 Série A2 season. The club’s plan is that if he performs at the start of the campaign, he will be moved to Bragantino for the second half of it, however, there is a sticking point in any potential deal as Ceará is a personal favourite of club president José Carlos Peres.

That’s all for this week’s transfer round-up, come back every Sunday to find out who else Bragantino are linked with/sign or follow Red Bull Hub on Twitter (@RedBullHub) for daily updates.
