Leonardo Realpe was Bragantino’s second signing in over a week. The young centre-back comes from first-time Copa Sul Americana winners Independiente del Valle, where he only made one appearance en route to the title. He played a total of 964 minutes in all competitions in 2019 before moving to Bragantino on December 11.

In the latter part of the season, Rafael Carioca became an important player for Antônio Carlos Zago due to other players having injuries and he helped Bragantino secure a place in the top flight, providing a constant threat down the left wing, by winning Série B. His loan deal from Red Bull Brasil wasn’t extended and he was allowed to negotiate with and join Vitória.

Walce is one of the 3 strong young prospects that have been playing in Sao Paulo’s side in the Brazilian top flight, alongside Antony and Helinho. Bragantino have a verbal agreement with Walce to sign him on a five-year deal, but due to São Paulo rejecting Bragantino’s biggest offer, RB Leipzig have entered the negotiations to sign the player for itself and then loaning him to Bragantino for 18 months. Right now, nothing further has happened.

Gabriel Boschilia has been put on the transfer by list by Monaco as Leanardo Jardim doesn’t see him as part of his plans, playing him for only 3 minutes since the start of September. Bragantino are weighing up an offer to sign him permanently, while Atlético Paranaense and Internacional are interesting in signing the 24-year-old on loan.

The player has been the star in the Universidad Católica side, scoring 19 goals in 24 matches in the Chilean Primera División. Católica have until December 22 to exercise their option of $1.5 million for 60% of his sporting rights or $2.5 million for 80%, if they choose not to, Bragantino are waiting in the distance and are preparing an offer for the 24-year-old. Some reports suggest that the deadline is December 15.

São Paulo are in a position this window where they need to acquire funds and Bragantino are looking to take advantage of this as they are interested in signing 19-year-old winger Helinho, but neither the player’s agent or the club have been approached.

Palmieras has been listening to proposals from Athletico Paranaense and Bahia for Carlos Eduardo, who is not part of the club’s plans for the 2020 season, while Bragantino are showing an interest. The club would prefer to sell him permanently but would be open to the idea of a loan deal. Goiás were interested during the season, however the demanded fee proved too much for them.

Red Bull Brasil are looking to add Santos B midfielder Anderson Ceará on loan with an option to buy ahead of the 2020 Série A2 season. The club’s plan is that if he performs at the start of the campaign, he will be moved to Bragantino for the second half of it, however, there is a sticking point in any potential deal as Ceará is a personal favourite of club president José Carlos Peres.
